The Union Catholic girls soccer team delivered a commanding performance on Saturday, cruising to a 4-0 road victory over Watchung Hills. With sharp offense, tight defense, and strong goalkeeping, the Vikings proved once again why they're a force to be reckoned with this season.
Hailey Mullaney was unstoppable, scoring two goals to lead the charge for UC. Sophie Peterson and Madison Farrell each added a goal of their own, showcasing the team's offensive depth and finishing ability. Rebecca Frank played a pivotal role in the attack, recording two assists and consistently creating opportunities for her teammates.
On the other end of the field, goalkeeper Rylee Curtis was rock-solid between the posts, making 8 saves to secure her fifth shutout of the season. Her leadership and shot-stopping have been key components of UC's success all year.
With this win, the Vikings improve to 11-4-1 on the season and continue building momentum heading into the state tournament.
