The Union Catholic girls' basketball team traveled to Watchung Hills on Tuesday with one goal in mind: to extend their winning streak to seven games. As the game tipped off, the Vikings were determined to continue their momentum.

Union Catholic, led by dynamic senior guard Gabrielle Ziegenbalg, got what they came for as the Vikings continued their torrid streak with a 63-52 victory. That's seven wins in a row for UC, who raised their record to 11-2!!

Ziegenbalg was on fire in this game, pouring in a season-high 29 points, which included five 3-pointers. She also had six steals and six rebounds. Emily Mattson contributed 14 points and Lentia Hasan scored nine points and hauled down 13 rebounds for the Vikings.

The victory wasn't just about the score; it was a statement that Union Catholic's team chemistry, defense, and balance could carry them through tough stretches. With their 7th consecutive win, the team continued to build momentum toward their goals for the rest of the season.
