Ziegenbalg erupts for 28 points, leads UC to big win over Oak Knoll

Gabrielle Ziegenbalg made five 3-pointers and finished with a game-high 28 points to lead the Union Catholic girls to a 60-51 win over Oak Knoll on Tuesday in Scotch Plains.

Ziegenbalg is now just 99 points away from scoring 1,000 points in her career.
 
The Vikings have now won nine of their last 10 games as they raised their record to 13-3 overall and 6-1 in the Mountain Division of the Watchung Conference. The Vikings have a two game lead in the Mountain Division.   

Emily Mattson added 13 points for Union Catholic, who will be back in action on Thursday when the Vikings seek to avenge its lone loss in the division vs. Summit at home.
