UC gymnastics team wins first meet of season
The Union Catholic gymnastics team received several strong performances when the Vikings won its first meet of the season with a 97.45-82.55 road victory over Piscataway on Thursday.
Seniors
Gabriella Prati and
Alexis Roth led the charge for the Vikings.
Prati won the vault, the bars, the beam, and she captured the all-round with a 35.7, and was second on the floor. Roth won the floor, and was second on the vault and the bars.
Also for the Vikings,
Ervnie Vincent had her highest score in high school competition bars,
Marisa Abram had her highest score on floor,
Ava Faustina had her highest score of the season on the beam, and
Reina Smith finished was 3rd on beam
