The UC softball team wins fourth straight game with dominating victory over Rahway
The Union Catholic softball team continued its torrid start to the season by collecting 11 hits on the way to a 13-2 victory over previously undefeated Rahway on Tuesday at Madison Avenue Park in Rahway.
The Vikings, now 8-1 on the season, finished with 11 hits and scored three runs in the first, third, fourth, and fifth innings to secure the victory.
Offensively for UC, senior
Jessica Sot had two hits and two runs batted in,
Caroline Parker had two hits, two runs scored, and an RBI,
Hannah Buniak had two hits, two runs scored, and knocked in a run, and
Deyalyn Sosa scored twice and drove in a run.
Cameron Kelly pitched the full five innings for UC as she improved to 5-0 on the season.
