UC wins final swim meet of season on Senior Night, Mike Riely breaks record

The Union Catholic swim team celebrated Senior Night with a victory over Johnson and Mike Riely broke a school record when the Vikings concluded their season on Tuesday night at the Jewish Community Center in Scotch Plains.

The Vikings defeated the Crusaders, 93-71, to finish the season with a record of 6-1. 

The highlight of the meet was the celebration ceremony for the Class of 2025 swimmers and Riely's electrifying record-breaking victory in the 200 individual medley when he touched the wall in 2:06.26!! That broke the 43 year-old school record of 2:06.8 set in 1982.
