Ziegenbalg leads UC girls to victory over Gov. Livingston

Gabrielle Ziegenbalg recorded 18 points and five rebounds to lead the Union Catholic girls basketball past Gov. Livingston, 41-32, on Thursday afternoon in Berkeley Heights.

Union Catholic, who has now won five of its last six games, improved to 5-2 on the season.

The Vikings took a 24-16 lead at halftime and maintained control of the game throughout the second half.

Hailey Mullaney added 11 points and five rebounds for Union Catholic, who will be back in action on Saturday at 12 p.m. vs. Linden.
