The Union Catholic bowling team received some clutch performances to edge Roselle Park, 4-3, in a dramatic duel when the Vikings evened their record on Tuesday at Jersey Lanes in Linden.

After Roselle Park tied the match by winning the second game, the Vikings, now 1-1, responded by winning the third and decisive game, 698-681, to secure the victory.

Senior David Dudas led the Vikings with a games of 174, 185, and 158 for a team-high series of 517. In the third game, senior Nick Grippo (171) and junior (170) leveled up to help the Vikings seal the deal.
