Roder, Altobelli, Dursee, Ruiz lead Union Catholic boys lacrosse team to victory
The Union Catholic lacrosse team jumped out to a big lead and stayed in control the entire game on the way to a 9-5 victory over Waldwick on Tuesday in Waldwick.
The Vikings, now 2-1 on the season, led 4-0 after the first quarter and maintained at least a two-goal lead the rest of the game.
John Roder and
AJ Altobelli led the attack for Vikings with three goals each, and
Aidan Dursee scored twice, and
AJ Kwiatkowski added a goal for UC.
Alejandro Ruiz was great in goal for the Vikings, recording 12 saves to secure the victory.
